For the 16th time, a community-regulated supply of heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine has been distributed by the Drug User Liberation Front (DULF) and the Coalition of Peers Dismantling the Drug War (CPDDW).

To commemorate the 206  people who passed away in April 2023, the CPDDW and DULF distributed 3.5 grams of each cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.

Vancouver, BC - A public health crisis is a non-partisan issue. Scientific evidence cannot be shot down with claims of obscenity. Since the declaration of the public health crisis in 2016, almost 12,000 people have died from illicit drug overdoses. This is what we call obscene. We find ourselves asking “who is the commanding officer in charge”? The federal government and its ministers continue to beg the question, bend the truth, and bail out the basement while there's holes in the roof. We are tired of this hypocrisy and delusion; of the lies, pretense, and deceit.

"HELLO?

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"

-Drug User Liberation Front

In yet another effort to show that evidence-based harm reduction works, DULF and the CPDDW distributed drugs to the membership of CPDDW. The substances have been tested via PS-MS, NMR, and HPLC testing, and do not contain fentanyl, benzodiazepines, or other harmful cuts buffs, and adulterants. This is the 16th giveaway of such drugs and part of the Drug User Liberation Front’s Dope on Arrival Program. DULF and the CPDDWs demonstration shows the potential for a life-saving community-led response to the declared public health emergency in BC, that could stem the escalating overdose deaths rates across Canada with sanctioning.
